Ann Oram RSW
Ann Oram was born in London in 1956, but grew up in the Scottish Highlands.
From 1976-82 she studied at Edinburgh College of Art and Heriot Watt University, graduating with BA (Hons) in Painting, and a Postgraduate diploma in Fine Art (with Distinction.
Ann was a lecturer in the Painting School, ECA after graduating and in 1986 was elected to RSW (Royal Scottish Society of Painters of Watercolour) before moving to Spain to live and continue painting.
Coming back to Scotland in 1991, Ann began lecturing part time in Painting, again at Edinburgh College of Art along with teaching Life Drawing for Design School.
In 2006-2007 she briefly lived and painted in Vienna, Austria and during this time visited and worked in Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Hungary, exhibiting her work in Vienna.
In 2016 Ann lived and worked in Northern France, but can now be found living and working in the Scottish Borders.
