Contemporary Scottish Artist – Based in Aberdeenshire

About the Artist:

Trina Stark is a mixed media artist working from her studio in Banchory, known for her evocative exploration of the landscape. Her work often captures the essence of her walks in the countryside, which present a continuum of familiarity throughout the changing seasons. Here, it is the mysterious depth and darkness of the woodlands, the haphazard growth of foliage, the texture and tangles, impossible complexities and diffuse light which fascinates her.

A graduate of Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, she has taught Art & Design in a career spanning more than 30 years and continues to tutor both locally and internationally.

Trina is an active participant in the regional art community, regularly exhibiting her work at local art events and group shows, establishing herself as a respected figure in the North East’s art scene.
