About the Artist:
Irene McCann is a distinguished Scottish artist renowned for her still life paintings. Working primarily in oil on linen, she draws inspiration from everyday domestic items, capturing their essence through her unique perspective. Her work is characterised by a love of colour, shape and texture, resulting in compositions that are both familiar and thought provoking.
Irene has been an active member of the Scottish art community, serving as a committee member of the Paisley Art Institute (PAI) and as an artist member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists. She also contributed to art education as an Outreach tutor with Reid Kerr College/West Scotland University from 2003 to 2013

East Renfrewshire Council, Nova Pane Group, Manchester and Smith and Williamson Solicitors, Glasgow.
