Lorraine Taylor graduated from Grays School of Art in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting. 

Lorraine works in a variety of media, but she particularly enjoys oil paint, using it to build up multiple layers of drawing and paint revealing and concealing what lies beneath the surface.

She takes inspiration from nature and the surrounding landscape with particular emphasis on a sense of place and an underlying narrative.
