Victoria Wylie makes contemporary abstract landscape paintings –her eye is drawn towards horizon lines, colour, marks and patterns in the landscape. 

She has a passion for remote open spaces–where sky meets sea, meets land, capturing fleeting moments and creating hidden layers in her paintings, with just a hint of what lies beneath –in the same way the geology of the land does to the knowing observer.

Victoria graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design with a BDes (Hons)in Constructed Textiles and a Master of Fine Art, she has exhibited throughout Scotland and the UK, her work is held in private collections across the world.
