Currently Artist in Residence for the year on the Rahoy Hills Nature Reserve on the Morvern Peninsula, Shona Cammack is an artist celebrated for her evocative landscape oil paintings, with inspiration coming from living on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, walking, camping and cycling around her local area and across Scotland. 

Shona’s creative process involves on-location mixed media studies which serve as the foundation for larger oil paintings completed in her studio.  

Shona’s paintings show the joy of outdoor adventure and the beauty of our wild places, and in 2023 she was on a creative residency run by An Lanntair Arts Centre and Sail Britain, spending a week on a sailing boat, sailing from Stornoway and exploring the coastlines of Lewis & Harris and The Shiant Isles.
